Brian Lynch is a trademark, copyright, and internet law attorney at Lynch LLP, where he focuses on trademark prosecution, brand strategy, enforcement, and litigation. He advises clients in technology, media, entertainment, and online platforms, guiding businesses through the USPTO process in ways that reflect their real-world ambitions and goals.
Brian is passionate about the intersection of law, policy, speech, and social media. He founded several of Reddit's largest law-related communities — including r/law, r/lawschool, r/barexam, and r/SCOTUS — which together draw millions of weekly visitors.
His writing has appeared in the opinion and editorial sections of the New York Times and WIRED, and he has been cited in Time Magazine and the book New Power. He also contributed to and coauthored the foreword to Reddit's book, Ask Me Anything, a project that raised funds for the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR).
Brian holds a J.D. from California Western School of Law and a B.S. in Public Policy from Georgia Institute of Technology (with high honors).
